After hardening, tempering should be done:
 
  A) Whenever time permits B) Within 24 hours
  C) Immediately D) If one feels it is needed for a particular job

On a 50 division inch vernier height gage, the beam scale reads 7.500 and the vernier is coincident at the first mark past the zero index. The total reading would be:
