Anorexia can be caused by many medications. One of the ways medication can cause anorexia is to decrease the ability to taste. What is one of the recommendations to improve intake in an anorexic if this is occurring?

Chronic diarrhea is usually caused by gastrointestinal irritation or malabsorption. Foodborne pa-thogens are a common cause of acute diarrhea. Inadequate protein intake and excessive intake of dietary fiber do not usually cause diarrhea.
