Answer to Question 1

D
Meatloaf is often made with breadcrumbs which contain gluten. Rice, potatoes, and sweet pota-toes do not contain gluten. Baked chicken, pork chops, and grilled steak do not contain gluten unless they are breaded or coated with wheat flour before cooking.

Answer to Question 2

4
Rationale: The elderly are more likely to have co-morbidities and take multiple prescribed medications increasing the risk for drug-drug interactions and adverse side effects. There is no physiological reason to predict that the liver is less effective in aging adults or that they are more likely to take dietary supplements incorrectly.
