Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

Beta-amyloid plaques are protein webs that form between the neuronal cells of the brain. The cells of the brain normally communicate with each other through chemical signals (called neurotransmittors) and electrical signals. When these beta-amyloid plaques are present, they prevent the brain's cells from communicating with each other. This slows down the information processing as well as memory recall or transfer functions of the brain.

Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
