For pregnant women, regular exercise decreases the possibility of minor aches and pains, including backache; relieves constipation; lowers the risk of gestational diabetes; reduces stress; improves the quality of sleep; and improves energy level.

Answer to Question 2

Foods that pregnant women should not consume include raw fish; unpasteurized cheese, milk, and juices; undercooked meat, poultry, and fish; and raw sprouts.
