Answer to Question 1

An emblem is a type of gesture or body movement that carries a specific meaning in one culture but may have a different meaning, or no meaning, in another culture. One example is the thumbs up sign, which can be positive in one culture but negative in another culture. Another example is the OK sign made by touching the points of one's thumb and forefinger together. This emblem can be positive or negative depending on the culture one is in. People should be careful when using emblems in cultures outside of their own because, without specific knowledge on how that emblem may be interpreted, it's possible to offend others.

Answer to Question 2

A person with secure attachment style is high in both self-esteem and interpersonal trust. A person with fearful-avoidant attachment style is low in both self-esteem and interpersonal trust. A person with preoccupied attachment style is low in self-esteem and high in interpersonal trust. A person with dismissing attachment style is high in self-esteem and low in interpersonal trust.
