It is generally agreed upon that IQ tests accurately predict which children will be successful in school and which children will experience difficulties. With regard to other measures of success, social scientists disagree. Some say IQ tests predict economic status in adulthood, while others deny that the IQ test provides a reliable forecast for adult success.
