Answer to Question 1

Average life expectancy is the age at which half of the people born in a particular year will have died. Useful life expectancy is the number of years that a person is free from debilitating chronic disease and impairment. Maximum life expectancy is the oldest age to which any person lives. Heredity (genetics) is a major determinant of longevity. Environmental factors that impact longevity include diseases, toxins, lifestyle, and social class.
