The student should identify and discuss at least six of the nine ways to prevent or stop sexual harassment: avoiding laughing at sexually offensive comments, jokes, or gestures; avoiding making sexually offensive comments, jokes, or gestures; avoiding touching others inappropriately or at all; avoiding making sexual suggestions, requests, or advances; trying to identify with others' feelings; confronting offenders in clear terms; writing letters to offenders; being unafraid of embarrassing the harasser; and contacting appropriate authorities. Examples should be included in discussion.
