Answer to Question 1

Answer: Knowledge of how to interpret and produce appropriate emotional expressions within ones culture, understanding ones own and others emotions, and being able to regulate ones emotions in social settings.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Racial bias emerges at about age 5-6 years in every country or region where multiple racial and ethnic groups live. Its development coincides with the development of racial constancy, the realization that ones race does not change. Other factors include the ability to group photos of people by race and the expression of attitudes of acceptance or lack of acceptance of other races by teachers and parents.
