Answer to Question 1

Sub-goals reduce anxiety and make the project less overwhelming.
Helps employees to re-energize their commitment toward completion.
Breaks the project into manageable smaller parts.

Answer to Question 2

A repaired vehicle that returns to the shop because of customer dissatisfaction with the completeness or accuracy of the repair.
