the closing remarks. If the speech was a poor one, the audience is probably tired and eager to
leave.

Looking at the audience while talking about the speaker's accomplishments is an effective
practice to follow when introducing a speaker. Do not turn from the audience to face the
speaker you are introducing always keep your eyes on the audience.
