Economic strikes are legal stoppages for the purpose of obtaining demands or better working conditions. Unprotected strikes involve strike activities that include property seizure, violent conduct, striking for illegal demands or striking in violation of the NLRA. Employer unfair labor practice strikes are due to, or prolonged by, employer violations of the NLRA.
