Your neighbor thought the area was zoned for singlefamily dwellings and is concerned about her property value and the construction of the complex. What steps can be taken to challenge the construction?

Answer to Question 1

1. The developer will have to seek a variance if the zoning is singlefamily.
2. Notice to surrounding property owners will be given. The ordinance could be supported and the variance opposed. Effect on property values, congestion, transient population could be discussed.
