Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
Testosterone is necessary for the genital tubercle to differentiate into male genitalia; otherwise, female genitalia develop. Sexual differentiation in utero is not associated with estrogen, proges-terone, or growth hormone.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Primary incontinence (enuresis) means the child has never been continent. Nocturnal enuresis is nighttime incontinence while diurnal would indicate during the day. With secondary inconti-nence, the child would have had a period of continence, which this child did not.
