ANS: B
A low white count at the time of diagnosis is a favorable prognostic marker in acute lymphoblastic leukemia. All the other findings that are listed are negative prognostic markers in acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
Positive staining with either or both the Sudan black B and peroxidase stain characterize acute myeloid leukemia without maturation.
