 Necrotic/pyknotic neutrophils can be mistaken for nRBCs.
 Lymphocytes appear larger than in PB smears.
 Cytoplasmic projections are commonly seen in lymphocytes.
 Lymphocytes appear reactive.
 Monocytes/macrophages are more readily seen with ingested particles.
