 SolidPaper, cans, cups, and other garbage from nonclinical office areas.
 ChemicalWasted drugs, cleaning solutions, and germicides. These items must be disposed of according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
 RadioactiveAny waste contaminated with radioactive material. Most common in oncology practices, this waste must be disposed of in containers clearly marked Radioactive and removed only by licensed facilities.
 InfectiousAny garbage exposed to bodily fluids or any laboratory cultures or blood products. These items must be separated from other waste items, placed in bags clearly labeled Biohazardous Waste, and removed by a licensed medical waste removal company.
