Answer to Question 1

By researching the practice's strengths and weaknesses, one can determine a potential market for increasing the practice's population.Part of researching the practice's strengths and weaknesses should include a broader look at the surrounding community. The medical practice manager should determine where the competition is strong and where their weaknesses lie. For example, if the only other family practice in town has a physician who is well known for his ability to work with children with behavioral issues, this maynot be the an area in which the competing practices should attempt to market. Spending dollars on marketing in an area where the competition has a strong foothold is not typically a wise decision.

Answer to Question 2

Loyalty is being faithful to one's employer, performing to the best of one's abilities, and arriving to work on time and ready to perform the job. Loyalty is staying with an employer through good days and bad.
