Answer to Question 1

B, D, E
Increasing fruit and citrus juice intake may decrease the duration or severity of a cold. Proper hand hygiene decreases the likelihood of transmission. According to Singh and Das (2013), if started with conjunction of symptom onset, zinc lozenges have proven effective in limiting a cold's duration and severity. Antibiotics are not used for colds (because colds are viral in etiolo-gy) unless a secondary infection is present or there is an increased risk for a secondary infection. Aspirin should not be given to children under age 12 due an increased risk for Reye syndrome.

Answer to Question 2

D
Kegel exercises increase the strength of the perineal floor muscle and will reduce dribbling. Changes in dietary intake, grapefruit juice consumption, or insertion of an indwelling catheter will not provide the restorative care that the patient needs to correct the problem.
