Manifestations of impending death include weak, slow and/or irregular pulse; decrease in blood pressure; and cool, mottled, and cyanotic skin. Coarse lung sounds are normal due to the accumulation of fluid. The patient may also experience incontinence of bowel and bladder. As the patient has not been incontinent, of the choices, the signs of pending death would be the patient's vital signs and skin appearance.
