Explanation: A spermatocyte with 46 chromosomes is an immature cell that undergoes mitosis and meiosis until it becomes a spermatozoon with 23 chromosomes.

Answer to Question 2

An anticoagulant drug is used to prevent a clot from forming in patients with arteriosclerosis, atrial fibrillation, previous myocardial infarction, or an artificial heart valve. A thrombolytic drug is used to break apart a blood clot after it has formed.
