If a physician performs a surgery on an inpatient basis when, according to the MCP, the surgery should be an outpatient surgery, the physician:
 
  a. will no longer be able to perform surgery.
  b. will lose his or her contract with the MCP.
  c. can be liable for the inpatient portion of the charges.
  d. will not get paid at all for the surgery.
