Olivia is 23 weeks pregnant. Her pregnancy was uneventful until last week when she found a suspicious looking mole on her left shoulder. Her obstetrician sent Olivia to a dermatologist for removal of the mole. The pathology report showed malignant melanoma. Olivia will be undergoing a wide excision procedure to make sure that all of the melanoma has been removed.
