Answer to Question 1

Answers may include a wide variety of management options, from recommendation of taking OTC pain relievers to surgery. Personal reflections are welcome, especially comments regarding the efficacy of the management option.

Answer to Question 2

Answers should specify one of the six documentation guidelines:
 Ordering diagnostic testing
 Reviewing diagnostic testing
 Obtaining old records
Obtaining additional history from someone other than the patient
Discussion of diagnostic results with physician who performed the diagnostic testing
Independent visualization of image, tracing, or scan by physician performing the E/M service.
And identify at least two aspects of the documentation guidelines the reader finds challenging and why.
