Answer: The medical office specialist should check the MPM to see if the patient exists. If this is a new patient, enter the patient information from the registration form.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The medical office specialist should review the report patient by patient and compare data to each patient's superbill and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to find any discrepancy.
