Asking good questions promotes strong problem solving and decision making, particularly when we encounter unfamiliar issues or significant problems.

Answer to Question 2

Strong critical thinking can be independent; it can lead us to diverge from the norm, and it can impel us to challenge cherished beliefs. And, as a result, applying critical thinking skills to a question or issue can be disquieting if not disturbing to ourselves and others.
