Answer to Question 1

A, B, C, D
Feedback:
Treatment for amblyopia can consist of wearing correcting glasses, covering the good eye with a patch, or a combination of the two. An additional option is using the medication levodopa and an eye patch. LASIK surgery might be considered, which corrects the refractive error but does not cut the eye muscle.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva that causes pustular drainage. The eye should be cleansed from the inner to the outer canthus to prevent the spread of infection to the other eye. School does not need to be missed for 2 weeks with this eye infection. Ophthalmic medication should be used as prescribed, which might be longer than 3 days. The eye does not need to be covered.
