These strategies are operational excellence, product leadership, and customer intimacy. Operational excellence is defined as the ability to deliver services or products smoothly and reliably. This is necessary in some industriescell phone or delivery companies would not get any business without good operations. Product leadership is when companies provide predictably excellent quality in products and services or when they become market leaders by being innovative. Technology companies compete for this by constantly churning out new products. Customer intimacy is when companies know their customers' needs well and try to meet them with unique tailoring. This works very well online.
