First, personal selling contributes to a relatively high level of customer attention. Second, it enables the salesperson to customize the message to the customer's specific interests. Third, it yields immediate feedback. Fourth, it allows the salesperson to communicate a larger amount of technical and complex information than could be communicated otherwise. Fifth, there is a greater ability to demonstrate the product's performance. Finally, the frequent interactions enables the opportunity for developing long-term relationships.
