In high-context cultures, interpersonal relationships are important. People in these cultures are guided more by intuition and feelings than by logic or facts. Decisions are made by groups rather than by individuals. Communication is more indirect and vague. Context is more important than words. Examples of high-context cultures include Japan and France.
