Answer to Question 1

The three concepts important to relationship selling are trust, needs satisfaction, and mutual goals. When customers perceive that someone is not being honest with them, they hesitate to do business with that person. When a product can meet the needs of a prospective buyer, the seller's chances of making the sale increase. Achieving goals shared by buyers and sellers increases satisfaction.

Answer to Question 2

While an initial interview assesses a candidate's general qualifications, a follow-up interview usually focuses more on whether the candidate's qualifications and personality are a suitable match for the position and the organization. A follow-up interview also gives the candidate an opportunity to decide whether the position and the organization will meet his or her goals.
