Answer to Question 1

The level of uncertainty pervading the entire enterprise will be greater in the international than in the domestic context. The cost of doing marketing research is often much higher outside areas in which there is a highly developed research infrastructure. Markets in developing areas are often not as large, so potential revenue an profits are more modest. A great deal of attention must be paid to translation of language and sensitivity to cultural differences to avoid big marketing blunders.

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
