If you have a seriously injured child with no parent present and are not sure about obtaining parental consent, you should:
 
  a. err on the side of treating and transporting the child to the hospital
  b. wait for parental consent to avoid unnecessary litigation in court
  c. do nothing initially but if 10 minutes on scene passes, then care for her
  d. ask the opinion of your partner and call for law enforcement to back you up

You should consider the possibility of child abuse in all of the following situations, EXCEPT:
 
  a. the child has an injury from a fall
  b. history doesn't match the injury
  c. there is a delay in seeking care
