A clientt is receiving an enteral feeding of 200 mL  strength Sustacal. The feeding is infusing at the rate of 12 gtt/minute and the drop factor is 10 gtt/mL.

Global Rationale: hours/feeding = 1 hr/60 min x 1 min/12 gtt x 10 gtt/mL. Multiply the numerators and then divide by the denominators. The infusion will take 2.77 or 2.8 hours to complete.
