Answer to Question 1

2

Rationale 1: First determine the amount of full strength Ensure that is used to make 500 mL of  strength by using the equation  = 500 x mL; 500/3/4 = 500 x 0.75 = 375 mL. Then divide the amount of full-strength Ensure by 8 or 375 mL/8 = 46.875 mL. The client is receiving 46.875 mL of full-strength Ensure every hour.

Answer to Question 2

100 mEq

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
