Answer to Question 1

Compared to normal and late-maturing boys, early-maturing boys are more popular with peers, have a more positive self-concept, and have more friends who are older. But friendships with older boys increase the risk of delinquency, substance abuse, truancy, and increased sexual activity.

Answer to Question 2
