With respect to task analysis, a self-regulated learner sets goals and formulates strategic plans to achieve those goals. With respect to self-motivational beliefs, a self-regulated learner has a high level of self-efficacy, expects positive consequences for achieving her goals, is intrinsically interested in the task, and has a learning orientation.
