Explanation: There are no federal laws or statutes that prohibit discrimination against a person based on sexual orientation. A transgender person is classified in the sexual orientation category, so there is no federal help for Gina. Many states and local jurisdictions have statutes prohibiting discrimination against GLBTs, so Gina should look there for help.
