Answer to Question 1

The HRM process includes planning and budgeting, job analysis, developing and revising job descriptions, recruitment, testing, interviewing, selection, and employee development. Job analysis involves studying the job that needs to be completed and the traits and experience required to do the work well. Recruitment is a set of activities in which HR specialists and operational managers engage in tactical maneuvers to identify and attract suitable employees that will help the organization achieve high levels of performance. Selection is the process of deciding which of the job candidates to offer the job. Employee development involves the process of orienting, training, and evaluating the performance of employees.

Answer to Question 2

The biblical record on leadership presents many examples of successful and unsuccessful leaders. From these biblical modelscreation, covenant, body, and incarnationwe find support that leadership means caring for the needs of individuals and caring for the needs of the group as a whole. The biblical ideal of kingship offers interesting food for thought by contemporary leaders who want to be covenantal in their leadership. The Bible narratives describe leadership as based primarily on relationships.

These people included 55 lung cancer patients, 31 breast cancer patients, and 83 cancer-free patients. The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
