The Big Five are part of the work-related aspects of personality. Conscientiousness is a dimension that ranges from careful, thorough, responsible, organized, etc., to irresponsible, disorganized, etc. Extroversion is the dimension that ranges from sociable, talkative, assertive, active, to retiring, sober, reserved, and cautious. Agreeableness is a dimension that ranges from good-natured, gentle, cooperative, forgiving, and hopeful, to irritable, ruthless, suspicious, etc. Neuroticism is a dimension that ranges from anxious, depressed, angry, emotionally insecure, etc., to calm, enthusiastic, poised, and secure. Openness to experience is a dimension that ranges from imaginative, sensitive, intellectual, and polished, to down-to-earth, insensitive, narrow, crude, and simple.
