Answer to Question 1

Attribution theory describes how people explain the causes of their own and other people's behavior. Attribution theory examines why people behave the way they do and what can be done to change their behavior.

In organizations, the decisions that are made and the actions that are taken are based on attributions for behavior. Only when these attributions are accurate (that is, only when the real cause of a behavior has been determined) are good decisions and appropriate actions likely.

Answer to Question 2

TRUE
