Answer to Question 1

Starting at the lowest level, Maslow's needs are as follows:
Physiological needs include the basic needs for food, water, shelter, and other things that are necessary for an individual to survive.
Safety needs include the needs for security, stability, and a safe environment.
Belonging needs include the needs for social interaction, friendship, affection, and love.
Esteem needs include the needs to be recognized and appreciated, to feel good about oneself and one's capabilities, to have the respect of others, and to receive recognition and appreciation.
Self-actualization needs include the need to realize one's full human potential. Self-actualization is at the top of the hierarchy.
