Answer to Question 1

Although it would be impossible to eliminate stress, organizations can assist employees in coping with and reducing stress. These approaches include: an employee assistance program (EAP) which provides employees with help for various personal problems; wellness programs which are systematic efforts to train employees in a variety of things they can do to reduce stress and maintain their health; and stress management programs which involve training employees in a variety of techniques that they can use to become less adversely affected by stress.
