Answer to Question 1

Many thanks to you.

Answer to Question 2

The communication process starts with a sender conveying a message. The message can be sent verbally, in writing, or nonverbally. Identifying how the message will be sent is called encoding. Once a sender encodes a message, the message is sent to a receiver. The receiver decodes or interprets the message. The receiver then sends feedback on the message based upon how it was interpreted. A major barrier to communication is called noise. Noise is anything that interrupts or interferes with the communication process.

There can actually be a 25-hour time difference between certain locations in the world. The International Date Line passes between the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
