Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

A facility is a place in the supply chain where product is manufactured, stored or transshipped. The two major types of facilities are production sites and storage sites or warehouses. Decisions have to be made about the location of the facilities, their capacity, and how they will be linked up to distribution centers and suppliers. This will impact the transportation costs and the overall responsiveness of the supply chain to customers.
