Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

The aesthetics of the user interface must be a functional aesthetic. The issues faced by user interface designers are more similar to those that industrial and graphic designers must solve than to challenges that artists and fashion designers must confront. In industrial design, function comes first, beauty second.
