There are various types of benchmarking studies. Operational benchmarking studies review systems that support care. One part of this is case management. A clinical benchmark study will review outcomes of patient care. Financial benchmarking studies cost/case charges and length of stay.

Answer to Question 2

C
For QI processes to be successful every worker needs to be involved and they need to be empowered to take action. Teams and quality councils should be used to advise and plan QI strategies. The other councils are used for organizations in the Magnet process.
