Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

C
Indirect care is time spent on activities that are patient-related, but not performed directly on the patient, such as charting or conferring with fellow health care team members regarding the patient's needs or condition. Direct care is time spent providing hands-on care to patients. Hours worked and available time for patient care are designated as productive hours. Benefit time, such as vacation, sick time, comp time, and education time, are considered nonproductive time.
