Some of the disadvantages are: 1) can take time, 2) can be costly, 3) can lead to conflict, 4) can become a power struggle, and 5) groups can become dominated by one person. While it may seem as if it can bring in too many opinions when all the group members share their opinions and perceptions, that can be one of the benefits or pros of group decision making in the long term.
